My nephew, Lucas Sobczak is an amazing kid. All parents think their kids are amazing but Lucas actually has the results to back it up! I’m amazed by how much his parents exposed him to sports as he’s already taken up soccer, golf, capoeira, swimming, and has recently taken up kart racing. Earlier this year, Lucas ran his first 5K with zero training in around 36 minutes. It’s impressive because he’s only 6 years old!
At 5 years old, he got his first hole-in-one during a game of golf 60 yards out. I have yet to hole-in-one…and I’m jealous.
He’s one of the star players on his soccer team, playing alongside kids 2-4 years older than him and consistently scores.
A few months ago, I heard Lucas was saving nearly two years for his first go-kart. What kid saves money? Well, he finally saved enough to buy a kart and in his first few legitimate races — he managed to get on the podium. I have no idea where he got his knack for motor-sports but I think it was when we put him on his first motorcycle when he was 1 year old.
When he got a bit older and bigger, I put him on my motorcycle. Just look at his face — he was made for this!
I have a greater appreciation of his driving skills since I used to race motorcycles. Check out his lines and take overs in his most recent video below:
The cute youngster, apparently doing the funky chicken in the video is his younger brother Matthew. He’s equally impressive as he can kill you in a spaghetti eating contest.
